ACE-031 – Research-Grade Recombinant Fusion Protein
ACE-031 is a recombinant fusion protein composed of the extracellular domain
of Activin Receptor Type IIB (ActRIIB) linked to the Fc region of human IgG1.
This engineered construct forms a disulfide-linked dimer and is structurally
distinct from short synthetic peptides or full-length endogenous receptors.
In laboratory research settings, ACE-031 is utilized as a reference material
for studying ligand–receptor interaction models, extracellular domain binding
dynamics, and structure–function relationships within TGF-β superfamily
signaling pathways. The fusion design enables controlled investigation of
receptor-domain behavior in vitro.
Unlike small peptide constructs, ACE-031 represents a higher-order biologic
system that may exhibit domain-level folding and post-translational
modification depending on expression conditions. This material is intended
strictly for laboratory research use only and is not designed for human or
veterinary application.
